Can you post a link to that  MTH photo page ?

The trailer is on the larger side, but it’s a nice piece of rolling stock.  It has wheel chocks. See picture below.

Radio Ron, Action Jaxon    Thanks for the replies.  Just recently on ebay, there was one of these for sale with some pictures-and from what I can (crudely) measure, the trailer is approximately .58-.60 of the flat car length-so a 50 ft flat cat ( which MTH says it is),  the trailer would be about 29-30 ft-well within the range of Polar trailer type campers from that time. I also think that the normal "stated" total length of a GP 7 or 9 is about 56 feet-and from what I can determine from Jaxon's picture, we are within reasonable "prototype-ness". BTW  Radio Ron--I see on your post that you are holding a LCCA traveling box czar. I am an old 6464 nut ( true 6464s with metal door guides top and bottom)-I was lucky enough to find the other 6464 LCCA traveling box car ( with reverse colors from yours). If you ever want to give your car a new home, please keep me in mind. thanks-turtle7

I only had it on loan for a few weeks like most people did.   I think I was the only person who ran it on a layout in Delaware.  It really would have been nice had LCCA given those who took part in that boxcar program to actually buy one.. even at some later date.   I think LCCA just had a "drawing" for those cars.  Is that how you got yours?

That's an interesting flatcar. Although I have tried to stay abreast on all the stuff Lionel & MTH has offered over the years, I totally don't remember that one.  Looks good!

RadioRon  No-I purchased it from a LCCA member-and did not ask how he acquired it. I also think that they somehow auctioned them off-but I do not think it was via an entire-club-wide advertised event. I agree that they likely could have sold more of these if they had planned differently.  As regards the MTH flat car-it too passed me by and I, like you, try to keep an eye out for "stuff" which interests me. But in 2014, I was not yet interested in the Maine railroads ( BAR, MEC and B&M)-and so it likely didn't catch my eye-now it does and I just purchased one from a store in RI. I was born in Jersey ( hence a real PRR fan, especially the electrics,-but also lines like the CNJ, LV, EL, RDG, etc) , raised partially in Maine ( hence the Maine lines and the Rutland and NH)-now in the Chicago area ( for almost 50 years-raised all 5 children here).
