Anyone know how to test the board for the grayhound sign or where to get a replacement? The building lights work and the cover for the bus area work. But the sign above the door does not. Any help would be great!

The board is accessed by removing the 4 plastic caps in the roof which hide the screws. Their is a sequencing board inside that powers the lights. If it’s getting power and it doesn’t work, suggest just replacing it. Other than some basic electronics troubleshooting, there is isn’t much you can do.

Can you follow the wire(s) from the sign to the board and test the wires for power using a ammeter?
Is the board is sending power to the sign? If yes, then then you need a new sign . . .
Is there any way to check the board before I check every light?
Mike, I don't have a schematic for the board. The first thing I'd suggest checking is whether AC voltage is getting to the circuit board.
Going by the picture of it you provided, I would guess that the 10 pin connector with the rainbow of wire colors goes to the GreyHound Sign. One hot wire per light and a single common (or vice versa). I'd suggest checking for voltage going to the lights (maybe DC) there by inserting the tip of your meter probes into the back of the connector to make contact with the metal pins inside. I think the lights are supposed to flash in succession, so it may take a few seconds to see voltage at any one pin.
As far as getting a replacement board if you need one, maybe you could contact MTH parts directly:
First thing I would do is check to see if power is getting to the board. Likely the black and red wires. If those wires have a plug, be sure the pins in the socket don’t have cold or broken solder joints on the board. I believe the sign lamps are 18 volt bulbs, so the output from the ribbon cable, with respect to a common lead (likely black) should pulse DC voltage. I believe the other two plugs (black, blue and white) are for the interior lights. Been a while since I worked on one. We just replaced them since it’s a $20 board. BTW, according to the MTH parts website, the board is out of stock.
