While looking on some auction sites I noticed that the big beautiful MTH Milw Rd Bi-Polar engines sell for amuch lower price than what I would have expected. Is there a known issue with these engines that makes folks hesitant on purhasing? or is it just simply lack of interest.

The exact model would be useful. I know that the electronics in some of those is crammed into a pretty small space, I had to replace the 5V PS/2 board with the PS32, and it was an interesting job. 
I moved this to the proper forum category since it is NOT a traditional sized item AND it specifically is discussing an MTH product.
