G Charlie, Sounds, great to me...hope others are all 4 this!!!
Will Southern Pacific Diesel fans also be Happy
Especially with that Recluse SD45?
*EDIT* MTH facebook is hinting at a Daylight SD45 (SD44)...........................
Just do the Red/ Gray and be done with it. 356 SD45 Locomotives owned by SP.
The heck with the Southern Pacific fans...how about some love for us LIRR fans! A Railking Sunrise Special would be great!
Sunrise
The heck with both Southern Pacific and Long Island fans...how about something new in Alaska RR?
Oops...never mind...there are some ARR engines from an earlier catalog that still haven't seen the light of day. I don't want to be too greedy.
Remember, we still have the following yet to be delivered: All the premier Challengers, K-4's, Southern Ps4's, GG1's, PRR J1's, etc.

Well let's see... Since I just grabbed a new Lionel SP Cab Forward from Charlie Ro last week -- something I've always wanted but missed out on when they were released several years ago... I'm guessing MTH may usher in their new American steam series with a unique SP offering like a cab-forward... or perhaps a new Daylight with updated features/sounds???
The real question though will be, "When will these new U.S. steam locos arrive in stores?". I'm still waiting on one of the new Climax locos catalog'd a couple of years ago before MTH steam production was halted.

MTH has made so many diesels, but yet, no Alco C420. I wouldn't mind seeing one in LIRR World's Fair color.
Wow, next week is going to be big! Lionel should release their Sign. II catalog, also.

Ron, If you are interested in a Lionel version with Legacy, let me know I have one for sale.
The suspense is building to epic levels!!!! I'll add my hopes...
BN SD40-2
Amtrak Genesis in Phase III 40th Anniversary paint scheme
CN SD70 ACE
KCS SD70ACE
Premier RDC cars
Modern 53' well cars and containers!!!!
I am just looking forward to them getting back on announcing and delivering Premier steamers.....
A Long Island C-Liner or S-2 would be nice
Andy
Freight cars for SSW Cotton Belt and SP Southern Pacific will have to be made sometime for all these Southern Pacific diesel locomotive models.
How can you ask for SP and SSW diesels without matching freight cars?
What cars are you pulling with the SP and SSW diesels, Conrail and New York Central?
Andrew
Perhaps the SP teaser means something different, like maybe a Harriman Mikado. It hasn't been all that long since MTH did an AC-6 Cab Forward with PS-2 and a choice of original or modified cab. Or perhaps they might do an AC-4 in the as-delivered paint scheme of gray boiler, black smokebox, and red cab roof? Just another Daylight, only with PS-3, wouldn't set a lot of hearts a-flutter, I wouldn't think, given the number of Daylights that have been made over the years.

Oooh Bill, maybe we'll get a CN??? I'd hope the sd is with scale wheels (white faced?), and the well cars..... Hmmm, I'm in for these.....

I can agree with the C-Liner, for sure!
The LIRR MU Electric set was passed up again.

To **** with all that!!!! What is in the catalog for those of us how drool over the Milwaukee Road and Northern Pacific!?!
I have never been big into MtH. I must say, after purchasing a PS3 Imperial S2 engine I cant wait to see the catalog. I like any lines in Pennsylvania so I'm pretty lucky there, always plenty of choices. The forum is going to be a busy place with both catalogs and York in the same month!!!
Still hoping for a Premier RF&P Statesman series 4-8-4, No. 618, James Madison.
How about an FM 10-44 or 12-44 in Milwaukee Road orange and black?
Or Chicago Great Western F-3 ABA in Deramus Red and a decent CGW caboose?
Or Chicago Great Western F-3 ABA in Deramus Red and a decent CGW caboose?
I'll second that. How about a CGW 2-10-4 or any steam for that matter.
We could Possibly hope for a Glimpse of Some 6 or 8 year old engines.
I'd like to see a new mold for Euro freight cars. All they have now is tankers and gondolas in the modern style and boxcars and reefers for steam era. The modern fleet could use a boxcar, flatcar, and/or reefer.
I suggested to Mike (back at the last TrainStock) that his next Euro offering should include a container flatcar. The reasoning being that they're "common as dirt", and should be fairly popular as such.
Of course, this also introduces the "AAAARRGH!" factor of needing to have two duplicate lines of containers--1:48 for us, and 1:45 for the Euro line.

Can only hope.....
Railride suggestion is a great one as well...container cars.
So many other choices...they could fill an entire catalog just with them...
I'd like to see Railking passenger cars expand to include RPO, Streamlined Combo Cars, and Troop Cars. Other RK:
Spokane, Portland & Seattle F3's and matching passenger cars
Chicago & Eastern Illinois F3's (passenger or freight+caboose)
Monon F3's with matching passenger cars
Illinois Central GP9's in orange and white
Columbus & Greenville Geep
Autoracks
Here are a few:
- A second shot at the McKeen cars.
- Scale-wheeled version of the AGEIR Box Cabs (let's get the CNW paint right this time.)
- Pennsylvania S2 Turbine in Premier. Maybe a deal can be reached with Lionel regarding the use of the scale tooling.
- Un-cancelling the Gensets in PHL would be nice.
- C40-8W's from the new tooling in CNW. Maybe that should wait until 2013v2.
- I'd like to see some 21" passenger cars. Move the 18" cars into Rail King. Maybe I'm hoping for too much.
- An accurate Baldwin ATSF 2-8-0
- Re-issue of the USRA 0-6-0 switcher.
Now listen guys, enough already. On average we get one announcement a year for one new European loco. That's all I ask. Thank you.
just what we need, more western railroads engines to flood the the stores.
What we REALLY NEED is that LACKAWANNA CAMELBACK 4-4-0 #952 that has NOT left st. louis yet to return HOME to scranton.
44 tonners!
I'll take mine in Boston and Maine/Maine Central/Portland Terminal black with the red nose stripes, please. I'm in for at least a pair.
Oh, and a set of Maine Central F3s in green and gold with matching fluted side stainless passenger cars would be nice, too.

Matt, well it was Mike's tooling to begin with!
The smart money is on the use of existing tooling for steam or otherwise add PS-3 under the hood and call it new, that has been a trend for the last few years. Remember they have to throw money at now developing their S gauge market with product line of S gauge helper and in the state of hobby manufacturing, everybody has only so many dollars to throw around or borrow.
Hey, why not throw in my wishful thinking:
Conrail GP38-2 w/PS3
53' articulated well cars w/53' containers
modern mill or scrap gondolas
34,000 gal LPG tank cars

I simply want some NYC Premier steam please. Dreyfuss Hudson's an ESE or
20th century limited would make me very happy. Also a NYC Alco PA-1 A-B Set
with a smoke unit also on the B- unit, like on MTH's HO version.
MTA NYC Subway!

Just dont let steamtown touch it.
