I have a MTH DCS unit. I want to power it externally With a Lionel Power supply. Lionel PN 610-2885-020 , 18VAC , 77 watts. Are the units compatible? Are the connectors compatible?

What kind of DCS unit? There are several. For instance, TIU, AIU, WIU, DCS Commander, etc. A specific model number would be helpful.
Are you trying to power the unit itself, or the unit as well as the track?

Well, the voltage and power are fine, but I don't know about the connector as I'm not familiar with the output plug on that brick. You won't want to use the variable control, just the brick.
