Great running and great sounding loco!

Every PS3 loco I have bought so far has had switch to the dcc side. Must be the last thing they check before packing them up.

David1...where did you order yours?

I thought about doing the same thing, but the MTH car is so different from the prototype that I can't see myself buying it.

I actually saw this engine when it was running through Utah, quite impressive. Sad part the engine itself appears to be dead, no sightings or news about it for a couple of years

Steve

Because there was only one GE prototype so only one number to use which was 2010. Plus it was the year it was introduced.

Dave

Actually it was introduced in 2007, but 2010 was the "Future" and I guess when they thought this engine would be mainstream

The Marker Lights SoftKey on the DCS Remote (SMK I believe it is labeled) turns off the charging lights. I tried it for myself.

I have several modern diesels mth/lionel.. For some reason the diecast es44s run sound outpull  look  better then all the rest. They are alot more money..I understand why everyone is pumped about this engine its almost half the price of the lionel .. I dont know what to think about the ns Heritage es44s .If lionel makes them out of plastic to compete with mth on price..Then we will hear the crap they cheapen them up..
