Thanks Sterling. They are rolling.
You should slow the train down a little bit.
Thanks Stirling for the video.
Can somebody recommend a decent digital movie camera that won't break the bank?
Anybody use a GoPro to capture their trains in action?

I use the 808 Car Key Chain Micro Camera #16 for train videos. It does 720P resolution (1280 x 720 30fps) and mine has a wide angle lens to get a wider view. They're typically around $40.
Here's one of the videos shot with this camera.

I like the look of the Mobius by the same folks as well, it's a 1080P and seems to have better dark performance. There may be one of those in my future.
Thanks Stirling I really enjoyed the video.

Thanks for posting Stirling.
I just got a go pro for daddy day and in the learning process . I got help from forum members and making progress....I think.
Still pretty dumb with it for editing with the go pro software.
Didn't know I had to do the u-tube stuff and all that just to send it to anybody or even post on here.
The amount of space required was tremendous. U-tube must have some kind of space available to be able to convert a large file for posting.

YouTube crunches them down for storage, but they must have a lot of storage.

To say YouTube has gobs of storage would be an understatement. I uploaded a 30-minute HD video ("The Boring Bus Tour of GTA4") that was in excess of a gigabyte. Not only does YouTube store that version, but creates versions in about a half-dozen other resolutions and formats (including a version with the music digitally removed when one several of the songs within it ran afoul of ContentID*) that are stored right along with the original upload.

(*it was restored later when the content owner opted to have Youtube monetize the video with a banner ad)
An hd pro camera always comes handy when traveling. Love your output here.
