I have an MTH PREMIER EP-3 electric locomotive with operating pantographs.
One of the pantographs does not lower. The operating motor whirs but nothing happens. The belt has broken.
Does anyone know the proper size “O” ring to replace the broken belt that is an “O” ring.

I use 1/8" thick 1" OD rings, AS #118. I get them out of the Harbor Freight #91506 O-Ring Assortment.

Replaced the Drive belt.
But now pantograph goes up when it should go down and goes down when it should go up.
How do I get it to work right?
Sounds like you have something reversed, what did you disconnect to remove it for service?
Had the string that activates the sliders wrapped backwards on pulley. You have to pay attention to the orientation of the pulley and the string when disassembling and reassembling.
GRJ, the MTH Drive belt was only 1/16” thick. I used a 1”OD x 13/16”ID x 3/32” thick “O” ring. Works great when it is done right!

Whatever works. The late Marty Fitzhenry turned me on to the HF assortment and the belt I pointed out. They've worked for me, and I've never gotten one back.
