For the life of me I can't seem to get my hands on ONE (1) black plastic pantograph insulator for GG1 30-2592-1E.
Someone on the forum offered me several for nearly 20 bucks.
My Lionel rubber ones will NOT fit into the hole nor adhere to the metal cab.
These insulators don't look like a typical rubber insulator. They have a very long bottom portion that fits into the shell.

How many for $20? Maybe not such a bad deal if you cannot wait?
I'd just prop it up temporarily until you can get the proper part. Waiting on parts is a fact of life.

Anyone know if I can purchase a U25B fuel tank from MTH?
I just ordered valve linkage for a Pacific, took about a week to get here from date of order......I had part numbers from a fellow forum member (thank you) this was last week.....hope you get the part you need....

Item number/part numbers would help when you make your request to MTH.
Brasseur sells them at $1.00 each plus shipping. If you need other parts that is an option.
