I have a GG1 that will only go forward and horn works and light in the direction it moves. A QSI operating system without proto sound. It has 3 pc boards 1 set sandwiched together and by itself located in end by lockout switch. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you road no 4897 RK-2500

Early GG-1 are DCRU with Horn board. Make sure lock out switch under nose of engine is in the run or on position and then it should cycle like a normal Reverse board. If still only one direction the board has a problem. Usually repairable. G
Alan the road number was at the end of my post. box no was RK-2500 what are you looking for? Also is lock out switch in a normally open or closed circuit when reverse is used. If a board problem, is one available? which board the single one in front or the two sandwiched together with tape in the middle?
Alan note I do not have PS1 but DCRU.
When switch is in closed position, the logic of the DCRU is enabled. At that point should cycle F-N-R-N-F. I is not uncommon to have a DCRU failure of the logic chip or the transistor or relay. So you have to work thru the issue. The GG-1 is a unique engine due to size that MTH had to cut the DCRU in half and use wires to connect the 2 halves. That is no longer available. I do have one that works, came from a new engine that was upgraded. You get both halves as wired. My E-mail is in my profile it you need board. G
