MTH's representative [ that's my choice of noun, I don't know his exact relationship w/ MTH ] has unofficially announced that MTH is in the preliminary stages of planning a new series of SNCF passenger cars from the 1946 DEV AO series.  These are not the stainless ones [ AO = Acier Ordinaire = regular steel ], interestingly, and are from the shorter 23.3 m production cars built in 1948-1957;  there would be a mix of body styles which would be able to be offered in both pre- and post 1956 liveries, just like the existing OCEM ones.

I would post a photo of the prototype of what one of these would look like, but I see the photo posting requirement has changed.

Best regards, SZ

Edited to replace "format"with "requirement"

Yes, the Picasso was pre-announced [ a good literal translation of an SNCF signalling term ]  back in January;  see my Jan 7th post in this forum.

MTH could make a real killing in the Euro market if they would just ditch 3 rail backward compatibility [ = radii and other compromises ] and make 26.4 m coaches in 1:45 -- but, as we know, Mike is a toy train guy, not a modeller.  Oh well, not my company or my money !

Best, SZ
