Just purchased this engine new on eBay from a registered MTH dealer. This is my 4th MTH premier steam engine. My only issue with this one is the cab light & firebox light only works once in a while regardless of whether I use the appropriate remote soft keys in an attempt to activate them. The lights do not flicker as might be the case with loose connections or wires.
Has anyone had this issue?
FWIW, tethering the engine to the tender was much more difficult than my other steamers. My fingers could not do what was required re the owner's manual. In desperation I put them upside down in my engine cradle where l could see how to do it. Then, of course, I had to very carefully carry it to the track.
