MTH Premiere GP9 Southern Pacific: Rollers and lights

Hello. Regarding MTH Premier Southern Pacific GP9 Black Widow scheme, ID 20-20248-1: Do the rollers clear Lionel uncouplers? I have an RS1 that gets hung up but heard not the case with the GP9. Also, does this have the blinking Mars lights? I'm not sure I'd care for that. If so, is there a way to turn them off? I'm running only conventional. Thanks.

You can always unplug the light if you don't like it.
