MTH Propane Turbin - more smoke? | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I have a propane turbine that I drilled out the hole above the fan, drilled out the outlet airflow hole as much as I could and drilled out the plastic square funnel attached to the body above the smoke unit. I wanted a lot more air flow because of the large air outlet of a turbine - I know there is a clear plastic sheet that closes the front and most of the rear or the exhaust stack. Has anyone reversed the direction of the motor - it currently revolves in a anti- clockwise direction - to increase airflow? Thanks Bruce
