I have a chessie mth premiere sd-35 that’s been giving me trouble. I have been trying to run it in a lash up with a ps 2 counterpart. The engine was added and the lash up was created. Every time I power down and then turn it back on the ps 3 engine powers up on it’s own and won’t run as a lash up. I’ve already tried a factory reset but the problem persists. Any advice?

how strong is your track signal?

try removing anything else drawing power and leave just the 2 engines on the rails. Test the signal strength. If it's low, set up a short test track and try the signal strength.

also try a shutdown test to make sure the caps are working on the PS3. Kill the power with the engine running. It should play complete shut down sounds.
