My MTH PS-3 Crescent Limited connector from the engine to the tender keeps disengaging. Upon inspection, it looks like the plastic has cracked on the connector on the engine side causing it to come loose and shut the engine down during operation. Does anyone know if this is easy to replace? If anyone has a part number or other tips that would also be greatly appreciated.

Yes, the draw bar is available in various lengths and it is not hard to replace. The hardest part is recording the component order as you remove the draw bar screw on the engine, so you have the order of pieces as they go back on. (The plastic washer and spring).
What length is your draw bar in mm? G
Thanks GGG. I have no idea how long it is, I guess I'll have to measure it. It is original to the engine. I was able to wiggle it into place for a few runs last night. I had a 3 year old and 18 month old visiting and they were mesmerized by the consist and nice green engine. Hopefully I'm sowing some seeds for the future of our hobby!

G, if I measure engine center pivot to tender center pivot I get 45mm. I don't measure the entire length do I?
