I just received a MTH RK Mohawk in Santa Fe Livery. Pretty sure it's from the first go-round. Seller said it's got some starting and stopping issues but I haven't gotten it on a test track yet. The tender was missing the screws that hold the frame to the shell. Any one have an idea of what size screws I need?

Is the tender plastic or die-cast? What is the model number?
It's the 30-1102 with the die-cast tender shell. I tried a 6-32 bolt and it seemed like it was the right thread but it only went in a short distance and even a 6-32 x 1/2" bolt is way too long. I don't know if the bolsters are only threaded for a very short distance or if it was the wrong size bolt.
I believe it's the Loco-Sound version not the ProtoSound.
Most of those tenders did indeed have 6-32 screws. Some of them only had 1/4" screws, don't know why.
I think this is the part number for the screws you need: https://www.mthtrains.com/part/IA-0000027 --- 6/32x6.0mm
Sounds right, but you can get 6-32 x 1/4" screws almost anywhere, so don't spend a ton of money shipping them from MTH.
