I was changing bulbs that were burned out and doing a lube job and a blue wire cam undone the largest wire on loco. Don't know where it goes but it has a large wire nut in the middle. I cant find out to where it was soldered to.

That is PCB Ground wire. Hard to see in your picture but one end goes under engine mux board soldered to negative spot of Capacitor. The other works its way back to the PCB connection on the engine PCB that has the blue tach wire on it. G
George the other end goes to the electric motor by the tach?
