I thought the RK scale units retained the "high water" fuel tanks of old. The catalog photos certainly suggested this since I passed on the Dash-8 reissue in favor of the Premier version because of this. I've not seen any reports of improved tanks on the RK Scale versions.

Yes, it's a mixed bag - But for whatever reason, the SD45 Railking received a scale fuel tank.  (I was hoping MTH would throw us a bone and put a Scale tank on the Dash-8 and FP45).

Here's a Railking "scaleking" I painted. I added the cab sunshades, beacon and A/C unit.
