MTH S 15" TRACK TO START SHIPPING

I asked MTH about their 2014 'S GAUGE' Catalog and they said it won`t be coming out until the Fall York Meet...

Well at least you got confirmation there will be an s gauge catalog.  I sent a message to MTH on facebook earlier in the year and they replied that plans on releasing a 2014 catalog were unsure.  I will happily take a fall time s gauge catalog.

That's awesome news!  Now I hope they start shipping the wide 29" radius curves so we can make a loop!

 

Anyone know where I can order some of this just-arriving straight track?

FlyerRich, why don't you order it directly from MTH.Com. I ordered some of the cars and they came through quickly but the others had to wait until they came in in about 2 months.

Well, I don't need any, Martin does. At one time when I was looking though Trainworld was roughly 10% less than MSRP.

      I am very sorry that I sent this to the wrong person. I have looked at MTH ordering for the 15 S Track 6 pack and the MSRP is $39.95 - 10%= $35.95 and they are offering it pre-order for $35.15 for the 6 pack. I will now send this to Martin. Thank You

yes, I looked on their site.  $24 for standard shipping pretty much negates any 10% discount.  

 

But if I have to be among the first to get it, then I guess I'll have to pay full price

      I have ordered some of the box cars from MTH direct and they came very quickly with a discount for pre-order. The additional cars I have ordered direct will not come in for a couple months and will also be discounted. So why don't you order the track directly from MTH. The 15" 6 pack lists for $39.95 - 10%= $35.95 MTH is offering it pre-ordered for $35.15. Just for comparison. You should make the decision of where you go I am just suggesting to order direct as I did. Take care and Happy Railroading

On the MTH Website, they are not marked as shipped yet... The Dealer Newsletter only gives a heads-up that the Products are in the USA or close to it, it can take well over a month to make it from the Ship to MTH Warehouses to Wholesalers then Dealers and Local Stores...  

 

Myself, I Ordered a Tinplate Mayflower Set by American Flyer, a few years ago in May, then Payed in full with taxes for the Set then a few months later found out that Mike had told someone at York in April it had been Cancelled, even though the shipping schedule continued to say it would ship in November... Shipping Schedules are updated, most of the time, very slowly..

I really really want to get at least a loop of the MTH  S scale track. However, all of my LHS have the S scale Lionel and I have not decided to keep buying that. Also my LHS raised the price of the AF Fastrack by two bucks each section @%$# 

Now the Newsletter for MAY 31st is showing 5 more different types of MTH S Gauge Track are coming, including the 30" Radius..

The S Track that`s shipping are the 10" and 5" STRAIGHTS and the 20", 25" and 30" Radius CURVES..

Hmm, still no paint samples of the F's.  But, it's a better showing than they've had in the past.  Now, all MTH needs to do is add an operating S layout.
