MTH Smoke Unit Gaskets

This thread should give you some part numbers and the items are available from MTH. There are two gaskets on the smoke units. A thin one between the circuit board and wick bowl and a thick rubber one between the fan chamber and the wick bowl.

Thanks Joe. Are the smoke units universal or does each loco have its own smoke unit?

I believe they are mainly universal. There are some different models used where space is an issue.

I can tell you the smoke unit in the Blue Comet is Part #AA-0000012. Not sure about the general.

A vast majority of PS/2 and PS/3 steam and diesel all use the same smoke unit gasket, IB-0000006.
