Rectifier Question : What would cause a rectifier to cook like this? The heat elements both read 16 ohms. No pinched wires. I can easily replace the rectifier but would like to deal first with the cause of failure.
If an element was grounding out to the housing that can cause it. Or Q-2 failed and unit is at 16 ohms at high voltage, maybe. Also they just fail sometimes. G
