Scale Trains bought some of the HO tooling and the entire S Scale line.
Here's the press release:

The S scale was sold to one company, HO to another, some O-gauge tooling was sold to Lionel. They split the company up three ways, into different divisions and are continuing to produce limited amounts of product at the present(very limited).

Phil, where have you been for the last couple of years???
I believe select O Gauge MTH Premier loco tooling was sold to Atlas, and Trainworld will be doing a YouTube show Wed. 12/1/21 at 7pm.
Lionel also bought some, though most is a mystery. I know the new Lionel Woodside passenger cars are the MTH tooling, just with a much bigger price!
ScaleTrains.com got the HO scale and S scale lines.

This is the kind of question we're going to be seeing for years with the chaotic way MTH was split up. I'm glad the products are still around, but what a nightmare for even the most active hobbyists to keep track of.
to GRJ: I been busy studying the details of diodes, which involves learning quantum mechanics.
