Sure, worst case is to simply wire them with a dropping resistor to track power. Even without the key, I suspect the class/marker output may be active. Also, you can tinker with the sound and chain files to add that capability.
There are some files where it is not active. Usually some RK, but occasionally a PR that the unit does not have marker by design. But the majority do have them so you just plug in the marker 8 pin, like the one that comes with the Steam upgrade kit. Or do as John says. G
