On my dcs layout I'm running fastrack 48 curves for my outer loop and 36 curves on the inside loop using 36 switches. I read somewhere that mth steam engines have trouble running through these switches. I like to buy a mth steam engine for my layout, but which ones would I be safe with and ones to stay away from having these problems from occurring on these switches?

Stick with the RailKing line and they'll work fine on the O36 curves.
John, what about the fastrack 36 switches? Any truth about the steam engines derailing going through them?
I suppose there are some MTH RK steam that will derail on them, but generally they do fine. I don't have extensive experience with that combo, but I do have several RK Imperial steamers, and they all handled the O36 curves just fine without a problem.
Thanks, John.
I have had issues with some steam engines on FasTrack switches. This seems to be with 2-x-x wheel configuration. Able to eliminate this if you can have a 10 inch straight before going into the "point" of switch. This problem was not on all my engines and never with a 4-x-x wheel configuration.
