The local club I belong to recently added another extension to its O gauge layout. Because of material constraints, we were forced to use old Lionel tinplate/tubular O-72 switches to create sidings and spurs. When I attempted to run our 30- 2749-1 SW1500 across these switches lined in the straight direction, the locomotive's truck appears to ride up on the frog; it gets stuck about when the front truck crosses the frog. Are there any solutions to this issue? If videos or pictures are needed, I can post them Wednesday. I have not tried the curved direction yet.
