Welllll.....  Rather than re-runs, I'd love to see something new.....like The Toonerville Trolley...with some added MTH pizazz....and complementary accessories.

As much as I'd like to have one made by Richart (like the one that just closed on da bay), for the money they bring on the secondary market, I'd sooner look forward to a new run by MTH that had something more to offer...like some rudimentary cartoon trolley sounds to bring a smile.

But, I'm not very optimistic after talking with some of the MTH management re tinplate, in general, at the October York meet.  Not a rosy outlook, it would seem. for new tooling/product considering a dwindling market.

Oh well, so it goes.

They may have been slow sellers when they were first announced.  Right now there seems to be a large interest in tin toys out there.  Repos are even hard to get unless you are lucky enough to find them and move fast.  Lilliput has a catalog of small tin toys and you have to move quickly if you want one.

I would like  a Robby but don't want to pay 4x the list in an auction.
