I recently bought an MTH PS2 Premiere Triplex Virginian that was said to have intermittent smoke. First time on track had no smoke or fan sounds from either smoke unit, and a cab light that was out, but everything else seemed to work fine. I opened it up, unplugged, tested cab bulb, and replugged (fixed), oiled both fan motors and tested with 3v battery and fans worked fine. Put everything back together and still no smoke or fan sound from either smoke unit, and additionally the sound has completely cut out. I shut down and restarted with the smoke switch in both positions. All other functions are normal. This thing is a massive pain to disassemble and reassemble, so any advice before I go back in would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
