Has anyone else noticed that the MTH website search function has ceased to function? Any search I enter comes up with no results, even some that obviously should yield a ton of hits.

In reading today's threads i saw yours John and tried a search on the home page under general search .
Now i looked up an engine last week i recently bought 30-1563-1 with no problems and my results just now below.
Your search yielded no results.
- Check if your spelling is correct.
- Remove quotes around phrases to search for each word individually. bike shed will often show more results than "bike shed".
- Use fewer keywords to increase the number of results.
Yep, that's what I get.
Although the "Search all mthtrains.com" box located on their main page came back with nothing (same as what John & Dieseler posted, you do get search results when you search via name or description on the Product Locator tab and search page . However MTH item number searches did not always come back with results.
You don't get all the search results with that search. Try entering something like Crusader, it should have a number of hits, and I get none.
I tried and got the no results too. I typed DCS, then Railking, it still came up the same.
Hi Model Railroaders: Not working in my Train Room. I tried several different item numbers and by item name. The product locator is stuck at the station. See screen shots below.

Well, I guess they want us to buy their app and use their search bar via App
I've posted this before on other threads, however, MTH advised us some time ago that there was an ongoing issue with the Product Locator. The workaround, as I stated previously, is to use the search function on the MTH home page.

The search function is available in 2 locations within the app. Neither one works.
They also need to fix the broken web page for checking on repair status. They are also aware of that one too but nobody is fixing that either.
Hopefully, they will get around to addressing these issues soon.
As I posted above, I had no luck with using the home page search. I was able to get some "limited" results through the product locator page's word search, i.e. "AEM" turned up a number of the AEM7's. That said, just as GRJ posted no results when typing "crusader".
MTH's site initially had some very good features (dealer/product locator) but only a handful of dealers would keep their inventory reporting up to date. IMHO, MTH very rarely invested serious time and experienced effort over the years to houseclean/maintain their websites. Sadly that lack of maintenance or a poor user interface could be applied to almost every O-gauge mfr at one time or another.
Lionel once had a straightforward site to find product/catalog info as well as a great parts locator and ordering system only to later "freshen" the look and make it extremely cumbersome and difficult to find product info.

And since that doesn't work now, what's the "second" workaround?
It's been dysfunctional more than a month. I got this reply in July after inquiring about the search function. Maybe its the Russians...

OMG glad I have something inconsequential to NOT be concerned about.
I tried getting on their website today, guess it is updating?
