MTH wifi app availability

For DCS, no apps yet or even announced other than Hikel's app

 

As for requirements I do not think its been announced yet, but I have heard the last few generations of phones should work

Is Hickell's app made for use with the MTH module, or does it require a computer be hooked up to the layout?

It would be nice if MTH apps would work with our old surplus phones, but the way Apple would do it would be to only work with their latest devices, since they want you to have to buy their new products.

I have no idea how it will all shake out, but I can't imagine the MTH app would tax even the oldest iPhones in any way.   I can simulate flying a 747 on my gen. 1 phone; it probably has 40-50x the processing power of my first computer - an Atari 800 that could likely handle at least the basic I/O of this app....

I thought Dave Hikel's app was going to be (or is) the MTH app when officially released?

I talked with mike and he said that it "the app and the module," WILL BE OUT IN MAY, (or so we think..............)

Hikel's app = MTH app.  It is still in beta.  The MTH wifi module will be required to communicate from the iDevice to TIU.  Hikel has said they will develop an Android version after they get the IOS version out.  Looks like software development is taking longer than expected, industry normal.

Will multiple Idevices be required for multiple TIU's?

You will need one MTH  receiver per TIU. Wouldn't need multiple iPads though
