The MTH Wireless drawbar sets of shorter drawbars; https://mthtrains.com/20-89011 Do not contain the shorter stiff wire that runs the length of the drawbar and I guess holds tension tight to the stud on the tender that transfers power between the steam engine and tender! Where can you find or what wire can you use to create shorter wires for the shorter drawbars? Also I lost the bolt that holds the drawbar to the steam locomotive. I had run it last year at club garden railway, put the train on the storage shelf and only recently found the bolt missing lost now. Does anyone know the thread size to replace it can not find a screw that fits the hole in my parts supply? Also what is the correct arrangement of the plastic washers and spring and drawbar when reattaching the drawbar? Does there need to be a plastic washer on either side of the spring? or the do the springs need to make electrical contact with the engine? Thanks for any help.
