The engine runs and smokes up a storm.  The. Bell and whistle are uncontrollable. They sound off at will I thought maybe the battery was bad. 20 years ago I replaced the batteries with BCRs and used a tape gun to record same on the tenders. This tender doesn’t have the marking. So I opened it up and there was the BCR. I used the z4000 to do a reset. It seemed to take I saw all the blinks  etc.

That is a conventional PS-1 board.  So it should run like a conventional engine.  If you have a pinched wire on motor you can get an offset to trigger bell.  Not sure what you mean by blinking lights for reset.  Not how it works.  Look at your PS-1 instructions.   Also you regulators are not mounted right and that can cause issues too.  G

Sorry blinks on the Z-4000. What about the whistle that blows when ever and once it starts it doesn’t stop?
