Hey folks,
Does anyone have a parts diagram for the MTH Z Controller? Specifically, I am looking for the barrel jack for the connection to the brick.
Thanks!

maybe contact midge at mth and see if there is a availability from mth trains.
I emailed her, thanks! If anyone else knows in the meantime, I’d still be interested.
Nice! That does indeed look right! I dunno, 64¢ seems a little spendy. Not sure if I can swing that.
The tab on mine that contacts the outer sleeve has broken off, so it’s not making contact.
Should be able to get that one in there. Remember, you will have around $3 shipping as well, so it's really many times that price.
Now you know why Digikey and Mouser are my Go-To places for parts, they have a very wide assortment.
Ha, yeah, it actually defaulted to like $9 shipping, and that made me grumpy....but then I saw the first class option. Whew.
I ended up hearing back from Midge, too, but the part is $4 and another $10 for s&h, so Digikey it is! Out of curiosity, how did you search for one that has a curved top like that? I am a somewhat regular mouser shopper, but maybe its just inexperience, but I hadn't seen a dc jack that was that shape before.
There's a bit of "art" to searching the parts on the big distributor sites. I started looking for a male panel barrel jack, and then refined it with their filter capability. When you get down to a manageable amount, just look at the pictures.
HA, I can do pictures! Thanks again!
Hi would you post the mth part number for the jack if Madge gave it to you, thanks Alan
Hey Alan, sorry, she didn't give me the part number, just the cost and availability (1) of the jack. Also how to order it with CC info. She said to either email with CC number, Expiration, CV Code, name on the card, billing and shipping addresses. Or to call Debbie at 410-381-2580 ex 261 as well with the same info.
yes I have called Ext 261 for help, she helps midge get the orders completed when midge is very busy helping many other people that have called also looking for parts! they make a good team!
