Is there a limit to the number of MTH power lock ons on a single loop, and does each section need to be isolated from each other?
I'm planning a small 6x7 layout with a simple loop of RealTrax and I would like to ensure even power by using four power lock ons. Will be running DCS. If I have to isolate the four track sections, what is the best way using RealTrax?
Sounds like you should be fine, but you definitely need to isolate the blocks so the DCS signal doesn't meet itself coming and going. I don't know a lot about RealTrax so can't comment on the best way to isolate the blocks, but I think I read you could put paper or cardboard between the joining clips underneath. You only need to isolate the center rail for the DCS signal.
