i acquired a lionel 4-4-2 hiawatha recently and, suddenly, my milwaukee compulsion appears to be over. my attack was not nearly as long and as intense as many others here, but i feel good about where i am.
i have a yellow bi-polar pulling my UP city of portland consist.
the 4-4-2 is pulling a streamlined train that is a highly inappropriate mix of stuff. limited by my choice to run 15-16 inch passenger cars, this engine is pulling an MTH express car, a K-Line smooth sided set (with skytop obs) and two RK super domes. ScaleRail was right that the RK domes have a much better profile, but the lighting in the dome itself is garish (the K-Line dome, by comparison, is sublime) and one of the cars is missing the "Super Dome" appellation. however, i can open up the RK cars and add people and only a master engineer or magician can open up the K-Line dome. i am running all three domes. the MTH car does not match the color of the RK domes which do not match the color of the K-Line cars which do not match the color of the 4-4-2. i don't care.
i also have an S3 (267) pulling some RK heavyweights (designated The Columbian) and the F7's for freight work. other than a Lionel caboose, i have no MILW freight rolling stock and am not looking to acquire any.
i feel done and healthy.
i will not do a catenary.
