Tango,
The editing window for creating a post is finnicky. Unlike most others you cannot simply "cut" pictures from somewhere on your PC or smartphone and "paste" them into it. If you do this only you will see them, and in your case only while you were editing your post initially. No one else can see them at all, and you can't see them now that you're done with your initial post.
The editing window prefers that you use the "Add Attachments" function that it provides. See the paper clip at the bottom right, below the editing window. Open "Add Attachments" and use it to insert your pictures and you'll have much better results.

They were never available for others to see, all I saw was the titles.
OTOH, Mike is actually incorrect, you can simply drop pictures into the message, that works fine.
Case in point, I just dragged this from my computer and dropped it onto the message composition window.
The most reliable way to post images is to use the “Add Attachments” function.
Where’s the For Sale post that has the problem? Post a link here. I’ll take a look at it.
John, you must be lucky. Cut-n-Paste doesn't work for me at all.

Agreed. I've always had to use the Add Attachments. The first couple of times, being a newbie, I tried GRJ's method. Then I read the directions.

Tangoman,
Did you do an edit to your post? I find when I edit a post, some of the pictures don't show up anymore. I need to go to the picture files at the bottom of the edited post to re-add the picture(s).

He said he dragged them in not cut and paste. Dragging does work but I use add attachments.
It’s COPY <CNTRL-C)> and PASTE <CNTRL-V> not CUT <CNTRL-X> and PASTE <CNTRL-V>. There is a difference, and using CUT and PASTE won’t work.
I use COPY and PASTE when I’m in a hurry. It works just fine...every time.
Dragging works because electronically it’s the same as COPY and PASTE.
Agree with Rich - COPY and PASTE works every time.
I actually did mean Copy/Paste, however, Ctl-X / Ctl-V (Cut / Paste) also worked for this post just fine. Obviously, I don't do that as a rule, but it works if I do. FWIW, it works the same as Copy/Paste as it doesn't delete the file from the source folder.
Many thanks for the info.
as you can see I know have pics to go with descriptions.

What pics? What descriptions? Where is the post?
You should post a link.
Thank you John .
