good afternoon first post in quite some time. i'm running late with my Christmas layout this year but just about finished. it's a 5x14 with four separate lines i only run conventional. the two outside lines were powered by a KW i was testing things with a williams sd-45 like williams before bachman. things seemed sluggish then things went goofy, intermittent power to both throttles etc, so replaced it with cw-80 i wasn't using. started with a 2037, ran great, then my MPC blue comet engine, that also ran great, got the sd-45 back out and it wouldn't even power up. moved it to one of the inner lines also powered by a cw-80 and the thing takes right off! any suggestions? i'm going to rebuild the KW but don't have time right now.
