Mystery motor | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Can anyone identify this motor? I picked it up with a bunch of Marx motors. I've looked through dozens of images of Lionel and American Flyer steam engine motors, and couldn't find anything close. It has a set of points on the top I'm assuming is for changing direction. But the most unusual feature is, the brushes are square rather than the usual cylindrical shape. Apparently the pickup is missing along with one wheel.

I was about to type Sakai also. Quick catch from Rob. They are very loud motors also.
