Has anybody used the catenary from The Train Station in mountain lakes n.j.?The price is right...was thinking about it...thanks for the help...

We're going with Marklin as did Scale Rail ...
Marklin is the way to go, there is a ton of it on the inter-net, easy install and works great, Here are some pics:

Ditto, very nice Martin! Where did you get your poles (or did you make them)?
Poles are made out of 1/4" dowel rod with brass rods for the wire support. I painted the poles "Rail Brown". The green insulators , I got from JoAnns fabric along with the green pins. The transformers are cast epoxy pieces. I started making them with brass and using N gauge rail upside down for the wire, but were too labor intensive, I could make 5 out of dowel for every brass one, I got the idea from Scale Rail in Hawaii...

Realistic catenary that works gets harder and harder the more realistic it is. I have chosen to go with Model Memories catenary which is hand built. I am NOT powering the catenary for a host of reasons. I am just doing a 16' diorama. Marty . . . great job !!
