Need Feedback on MTH Wireless Tethers

My Big Boy 20-3416-1E (cataloged in 2010) has a bad wireless tether. All circuits won't stay consistently connected. Is there a troubleshooting sequence or do I just replace the tether? Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences.
