The three metal cars that look like Marx, were made in Japan by Sakai, and are

often called "Japanese Marx", as they are an obvious take off on Marx "3/16".  They

are commonly found in sets with a 2-6-2 Prairie engine and a tender somewhat

similar to the "wedge" tender found with Marx #999 and other engines.  The

2-6-2 is more compact even than the #999 and gives another prototypical wheel

arrangement to all the Marx and Lionel 2-4-2's out there.  The tender with the set

and some of the cars are lettered "Hudson and Pacific".
