NEED HELP REPLACING KW TRANSFORMER CORD

I need to replace the power cord on my KW.

I’ve done the easy part of the disassembly of the case and handles. Now I need to access the tabs to desolder the old cord.

I carefully turned the 4 twist-tabs on the top plate and that is now loose. I thought about bending outward the 2 bigger tabs on the 2 sides that seem to hold the lamination stack in but I’m not sure that’s what I want to do.

What’s next????
