When I get home this evening I will send you directions.  Remember, you can run 2 seprate trains and 2 seprate accessories.  You will not be able to run the bell from the transformer - just the whistle and direction changes.

I see you just joined today.  Welcome.  Is your e-mail in your profile?  If not, let me know what it is and I can send the above to you off line.  Of course someone may post something before I do - which is how things work here.  We help out each other!

Also, only members can see your e-mail in your profile.  People who are not registed can not see it.  Helps to post it so if you have something a member can contact you directly if that is a more suitable means to resond to something.  Up to you, but most have theirs posted.

I have a hard copy, so here it goes.

Look at the back of the transformer.

Reading LEFT to RIGHT, you should see:

U (left)  U (right)

C   D

A   B

According to my instructions....

A + C = variable voltage of 0 to 14 Volts

A + U(left)  =variable voltage of 6 to 20 volts

B + D = variable voltage of 0 to 14 Volts

B + U(right)  = variable voltage of 6 to 20 volts

C + D = 14 volt fixed (like for accessories)

Hope that helps.

I think with a 'modern' train (ergo, something made in the last 20 years), using the "6-20 volt" combination will get you a bat out of **** effect when you turn on.

Others should correct me if I am wrong.

Regards.
