I'm not sure what you're asking. You say that you already know what the contents of the set should be, so exactly what is it that you want to know??

Just in case I am misunderstanding your question, here's what I know about that set. It was made for Sears in 1957. The set contained a 611 Jersey Central Diesel Switcher, 6464-225 New Haven box car, 6262 flat car with wheels,6646 stock car, 6112 gondola with canisters, 6121 flat car with pipes, 6014/6024 box car, 6017 Caboose, 8 curved, 3 straight, 6029 uncoupling track, and 1015 transformer. The small 6014 box car could have been a Bosco or a Frisco, or it could have been a 6024 Shredded Wheat. All of the cars in the  set were probably in their own individual boxes.

Gandy

Greenburg's book just states that all of the components of the set may have been boxed. Unless somebody actually has that set in their collection, we may never know for sure.
