I picked up a MTH operating crane car at a train show this weekend but it did not have the little cranking tool enclosed. I am going to call MTH this afternoon, but was hoping to have the part # when I called. I think I can get away with the correct sized screw driver, but I wanted to see if they even had the part in stock. If they don't have it in stock, if I get the part #, I can ask around.

I think an Allen key would work fine.

I lost that same part from my MTH big hook crane. I now use a very small flat head screw driver which works just fine.
What's the chance anyone has one of these cranking tools going spare? I just got a really sweet Western Maryland crane that doesn't have one either.
