I need the schematic for the 600-0103-001 electronic e-unit. A search only comes up with Tuveson mentioning it.

Thanks BB. But that schematic shows how the board is connected. I'm looking for the schematic for the board itself so that I might be able to repair it.
They're pretty simple, check the driver transistors first. Truthfully, for the price, it's almost not worth trying to fix them.
Took the ERR boards out of the 0-4-0 I had for sale and put the original board back in. It was OK when I took it out. Don't remember letting the smoke out of it. Was hoping to get $50 bucks for the engine as a conventional runner. Waddya mean "for the price it's not worth fixing"? Can one be had somewhere cheap? Anyway one time you expressed interest in the ERR boards. Found the receipt for the Sound Commander Atlantic board but not the driver board. It's not a Cruise or mini Commander.
The 103 E-Units are $15, right? I think I probably have a conventional E-Unit board that I could dig out.
Do you have a picture of the mystery ERR driver board?
Aha! In the process of getting ready to take a picture of it I found some printing between the heat sink and the board. On one end - TA EE 2007 REV3 44 TON. On the other end (C) 2007 ERNIE EMRICH. So it's a Train America board designed by Ernie. I have the TAS catalog from back then but I don't see it listed.
OK just found instructions for a TAS 4 amp Mini Driver DC.
Could you send me a copy of those instructions? That's one I don't have.
I don't know that I ever ran across that particular board.
John, add it to the reference library please on the forums when you get it.
My printer-copier broke last week. In process of shopping for new one. The board is for sale for $25 ($40 list) with the instructions but you have to buy the ERR Sound Commander that's plugged into it for $50 ($90 list)
If you ever get a scanner, I'd sure like to see that book. As Dennis says, posted in the technical reference thread in the TMCC forum would be great.
I'll keep it in mind.
Gary, I posted the parts on a similar question. Go tot he second page of this forum and you can find it. Normally replace the main motor transistor that is shorted. (TIP31/32 or both). G
Can you clarify what you mean by "got to the second page of this forum"
I think he means the second index page Gary. Obviously, that's only valid for a snapshot in time as the index entries are sorted by last post timestamp.
Correct. Still near the top of the second index page. Title Lionel 103 E-unit.
Got it. Thanks.
