Need suggestions for new subway yard design

Hi All,

I am trying to design a subway yard and shops for my new layout and am looking for any tips or suggestions folks may have. I have several questions I am wrestling with. How many storage tracks should I have and how far apart are they? Also, how long are they? Do you have a run around loop? IS there a good kit for a maintenance shop? Could you share some pics? Any help or suggestions would greatly be appreciated.
