The drawbar snapped on my old Lionel 6026W tender. I can't figure out how to take the tender apart. There are some plastic tabs I am afraid to break to get the tender cover off.
I have a spare drawbar however it looks like the trucks are pressed/staked together into the chassis.
Is there a guide or resource on how to do this procedure? I can't find anything so far for this specific task.

Photos would be helpful.
Most likely you need to take the shell off and then the truck. I believe it is part of or a separate piece of the truck.
Photos added. I can't get the shell off due to those tabs. What's the trick? I am afraid to pry and snap the plastic. Then there's the truck itself that's pressed together with the chassis.
Take the screw out of the opposite end of the car. Shell should just pivot off of the two tabs.
AAh... see the screw. Thought it was a detail in the plastic. I also see the circlip around the truck's peg. Easy drawbar swap and reassemble. Thanks.
One little screw I couldn't see had me totally overthinking this.
