4+ years of college, and I couldn't think to flip the board over! Unfortunately, the 6 pin Molex has no markings front or back, other than J1. I assume power and motor wires go into/out of this connector. Is there somewhere else I can find it? Normally I would look up any engine that uses this board and look for a wiring diagram, but I don't know any engines that use this board - any numbers you can offer?

Also J2 (I think that's it, the white 4 pin connector) has a smoke contact. Since this isn't TMCC or anything similar, what's the point of a Smoke connector? Does it turn the smoke on when running and off when in neutral?

As long as I'm asking for the moon, would you happen to know the type of lighting supported, incandescent or LED? Is this the board that provides half wave DC for the lights?

I'd be a bit surprised if the smoke output isn't active by default.  There'd be no reason to disable it and make another part  to stock.

Just to put some closure on this one, I installed per the markings on John's board pictured above, and all went well. This is powering a single pullmor in an 8111 DT&I diesel - no heat issues at all on a light load. Interestingly, the smoke output appears to be functional, providing track voltage in F and R, and providing track voltage with a 50% duty cycle in neutral.

For whatever reason, Lionel chose to include a 6 pin cable with 5 wires installed - just not the right one! It has the correct black molex connector and fits the board perfectly. Unfortunately only ONE of the color coded wires was in the correct position to match up with normally accepted color coded functions (blue & yellow = Armature, green = field, etc.), and I didn't have a pin release tool that small, making a simple job of relocating the wires completely impossible, so I ended up soldering wires to the bottom side of the board. Not really necessary to match colors to function, but it sure helps the next guy!

@Pingman, yes it did, a 6 pin cable I mentioned in one of the above posts. I don't know why someone did that, I'm fairly certain it wasn't supposed to, plus it was the wrong cable.

Update: No, that cable did NOT come with the ACMC board - I thought it did, but then I found the receipt that showed I bought 3 of them from Lionel, I realized they were for some LCRU units I have. So.....my mistake!
