I have yet to see any photos of the Bethgon Coal hopper pilot models by MMW shown at the Indy Show. Could someone please post some photos. I hear that the pilot models were done in 7 1/2 weeks.

I guess it doesn't take years after all. His SD40-2 premium was done in 6 month as shown at the March Meet. I emailed with MMW and he says the SD45s are in production with start of delivery by the March Meet. The Gons will be on the heels of the 45's. WOW I might not die before other brass dealers bring their products in the country. I do not understand why some importers have so much trouble with their builders. What's really nice is to see actual pilot models so that we can see what we are getting instead of waiting till they arrive and get a big surprise. I have to say that I am in for the Norfolk Southern gons

Yes, definitely some lessons there for the importer previously known as 'the finest'.

No model has been delivered yet, however, we do know that the SD45 is, in fact, in production with delivery dates starting this coming March.  We also have proof, with the pilot models shown, of all 3 projects coming our way.  Another importer promises pilot models to be shown at shows and also to be posted on their website and yet none of this has been done.  Erik has kept his promises by producing pilot models and presenting them when promised.  The Indy show had all 3 projects' pilot models shown, with some of the SD45s even in paint.  Things are looking very positive.

PS: I was at the show and talked to Erik but I did not take any pictures of the pilot models.  Now, I wish I had!  Maybe somebody who did can post them??

Yes Mike, he now has the drawings for the center beams. I would think they would be the next car project.

Still waiting for more reservations on the centerbeams.  I had to renege on the bethgons I talked to him about as I have no place to put 100 bethgons but told him I would sign up for more centerbeams to make that happen.

Thank you John for letting us know that the pilot models of the Bethgons are posted on the website.  They must have been posted after I was there.  They look very, very nice!  I told Stephen that I really wanted a Class A but he and I agree we rather do without the Class A then go through the agonizing torment that has happened to the Union Pacific Big Boy buyers and the unusual time that it has taken.  I think I will stick with MMW for now as he shows proof of the models that are coming.
